As part of Get Online Week 2026, a free community support session is being held to help people learn how to use the NHS App.

Event Details

• Date: Thursday 22 October 2026
• Time: 11:00am to 1:00pm
• Venue: Fallowfields Community Centre, Isis Court, Agnesfield Close (off Fallowfields Drive), North Finchley, London, N12 0TJ

What attendees can get help with:

• Downloading the NHS App
• Registering and setting up an NHS login
• Booking and managing appointments (where available)
• Ordering repeat prescriptions
• Viewing health information and accessing NHS services online

Who should attend? Anyone who would like support using the NHS App, whether they are new to it or need help accessing its features.

What to bring:

• A smartphone or tablet
• Identification (ID)
• NHS number (to help with registration)

Organisers: The event is supported by Good Things Foundation's Get Online Week, BOOST (Part of The Barnet Group), Barnet PCN 2, and the NHS App.

Routine queries, appointment requests and prescription requests/queries can be handled from 5pm or you can submit an econsult via the practice website

If you have an urgent but not life-threatening query between 1pm and 5pm, our team will still be available to assist you. 

In a genuine emergency you should call 999.

• Severe breathing difficulties
• Suspected heart attack
• Suspected stroke
• Serious accidents
• Crushing chest pain
• Anything else you believe is an immediate life-threatening condition

Financial Wellbeing Information Day

A free community event bringing together local organisations and services to provide information, advice, and support on a range of financial wellbeing topics. 

Topics covered:

• Benefits and entitlements, including checking what support you may be eligible for. 
• Debt and money worries, with confidential advice on managing debt. 
• Employment support, including job-seeking and employment advice. 
• Housing and household costs, with information on support for housing and essential bills. 
• Budgeting and money management, offering practical tips to help make money go further. 
• Information about other local support services and organisations.

• Time: 10:30am to 1:00pm 
• Venue: Oakleigh Community Church, 168–170 Oakleigh Road North, N20 0UG
